Android Direct Proxy Configuration Guide

Configure your Android device to use ExpressNodes proxy servers directly through built-in Android settings. This method routes all Wi-Fi traffic through our high-speed proxy servers without requiring additional apps.

Configuration Steps for Cellular Connection
Step 1: Access Settings
- Open Settings on your Android device.
- Search for APN or Access Point Names.
- Tap on Access Point Names
- Tap + to add a new APN or modify an existing one.

Step 2: Configure Proxy Settings
- Configure any name you prefer
- In Proxy, APN enter the IP address
- Enter proxy port number
- Enter username, password of the proxy
- Click 3 dots and save

Step 3:Activate and Authenticate
- Select your newly configured APN from the list
- Turn off mobile data, wait for sometime, than turn back on
- Open browser and visit any website, When sign-in pop-up appears, enter your proxy username, password

Configuration Steps for Wi-Fi Connection
Step 1: Access Settings
- Open Settings on your Android device.
- Tap Wi-Fi
- Tap the icon next to your connected network

Step 2: Configure Proxy Settings
- Scroll down to Proxy section
- In Proxy enter the IP address
- Select Manual
- Enter Hostname
- Enter proxy port number
- Click save

Step 3:Activate and Authenticate
- Open browser and visit any website, When sign-in pop-up appears, enter your proxy username, password
