  2. Evaluation Mode: When Proxifier opens, you'll see a screen with two options:
    • Click "Continue Evaluation" if you don't have a registration key

    • Enter your Mac administrator password when prompted
    • Click "OK" or "Unlock" to proceed
  8. Security Confirmation: A security prompt will appear:
    • Message: "Proxifier would like to filter network content"
    • Click "Allow" to grant the necessary permissions
  9. Complete Setup:
    • Click "Done" to finish the configuration
    • Return to the Proxifier application

Important Notes for macOS Users:

  • These steps are only required on macOS - Windows users will not see these prompts
  • You must have administrator privileges on your Mac to complete this process
  • The network extension permission is required for Proxifier to intercept and route network traffic
  • Without completing these steps, Proxifier will not function correctly

Troubleshooting macOS Permissions

  • If you accidentally clicked "Cancel": Quit Proxifier completely and restart the application to see the prompt again
  • If the toggle won't stay enabled: Make sure you're entering the correct administrator password for your Mac
  • If Proxifier doesn't appear in Network Extensions: The initial system prompt may have been blocked - restart Proxifier to trigger it again
  • If you're still having issues: Try restarting your Mac and repeating the installation process
